About the product
What is WuJi, in one sentence?
A subscription journal organised around the 24 Solar Terms of the traditional Chinese calendar: it tells you where the year currently sits, shows the classical source behind each statement, and gives you a private place to record how your days actually go.
Is this medical software?
No. It publishes cultural and lifestyle reference material. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or predict any medical condition, it is not a regulated medical device, and it is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. That boundary is enforced in the product, not just written in a policy — see the medical disclaimer.
Is it fortune telling?
No. We make no predictions about health, life events or outcomes of any kind. What the product does is calendrical: it computes where a date falls in a traditional seasonal system and shows you what the classical texts said about that point, with the edition named. You are reading a documented tradition, not a forecast.
Do I have to give my birth details?
No. They are optional and only affect the personal timeline feature. Everything else works without them. If you do supply them we ask for separate, explicit consent first, and you can remove them at any time.
Does it work outside China, and in the southern hemisphere?
Yes. The interface is fully English, and calculations adjust for your time zone, true solar time and hemisphere, so a reader in Melbourne is not told it is spring in August. The solar terms remain a calendar convention from a specific region of China, so always check your own local forecast rather than the calendar.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
WuJi is a web application that installs to your home screen as a progressive web app, which works on both iOS and Android without an app store account.
Billing and cancellation
What does it cost?
Free forever with no card, US$6.99 per month, or US$49.99 per year. A one-time Annual Seasonal Report is US$9.99. All prices are in US dollars, excluding tax. Full detail on the pricing page.
Is there a free trial?
No, deliberately. The Free plan is permanently free and needs no card, which we think beats a trial that quietly converts into a charge. If we ever add a trial we will state its end date, the price afterwards and how to cancel, before you start it.
Will my subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Pro Monthly renews every month, Pro Annual every 12 months, at the same price, until you cancel. Annual subscribers get an email at least 7 days before each renewal with the date and amount. The one-time Annual Seasonal Report never renews.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Two clicks, no email required, no reason requested. Your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for and you are not charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — in full, on request, within 14 days of a first purchase or of any renewal charge, including when a renewal simply caught you by surprise. Email billing@e5elements.com. We decide within 2 business days and your bank posts it in 5 to 10 business days. See the refund policy for the cases we cover outside that window too.
There is a charge on my statement I do not recognise.
Ours appear as E5ELEMENTS. Email
billing@e5elements.com with the date and
amount and we will identify it, and refund it where our policy applies. Please try that before
filing a chargeback — it is faster for you and lets us fix the cause.
What happens if my card fails?
We email you and retry over about two weeks, during which Pro access continues. If it still fails the account lapses to Free. Your journal data is not deleted, and resubscribing restores access to it. We do not charge late fees or use collections agencies.
Which currency, and will my bank add a fee?
We bill in US dollars only. If your card is in another currency your bank does the conversion at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. We neither set nor receive any part of that.
Privacy and data
Who can see my journal?
You. Entries are private to your account. We do not sell personal data, we do not send journal text, symptom notes or birth details to advertising platforms, and we do not use your content to train machine-learning models. The named list of companies that process any of your data is published in the privacy policy.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes, yourself, immediately, at no charge, from Settings → Privacy. Export gives you a machine-readable file of everything you entered. Deletion is permanent and also cancels any active subscription. Step by step on the your data page.
Where is my data stored?
Our application, database and encrypted backups run on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in Singapore. Payments are processed by Stripe in the United States. Because ZHCLOUD LLC is a United States company, your data is processed outside your own country; the transfer safeguards we rely on are set out in the privacy policy.
Do you track me with advertising cookies?
No. We set no advertising or retargeting cookies and run no session recording. Optional analytics cookies are off until you accept them, refusing is as easy as accepting, and we honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal. See the cookie policy.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes, 18. Journalling data of this kind deserves an adult's informed consent, and we would rather narrow the audience than handle a minor's wellness notes.
The company
Who is behind WuJi?
ZHCLOUD LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, United States, Employer Identification Number 98-1969496, wholly owned by Junzhe Chen. Registered at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. More on the about page.
How do you make money?
Only from the subscriptions and the one-time report described on the pricing page. There is no advertising business, no data brokerage, no marketplace and no third-party commission. What you pay is the whole relationship.
I found a mistake in one of your citations.
Please tell us — legal@e5elements.com with the page and the passage. When a correction changes a conclusion we publish it rather than silently editing the text.
Can I ask your support team about my symptoms?
We cannot help with that, and we will not try. We cannot assess symptoms, interpret test results or advise on treatment. For an emergency, contact your local emergency services; for symptoms that persist, see a qualified healthcare professional. It is a boundary we hold even when customers press us on it.
