What we do

We sell software subscriptions directly to individual consumers. A customer creates an account on e5elements.com, uses the Free plan for as long as they like, and may upgrade to a Pro subscription or buy a one-time Annual Seasonal Report. Payments are collected by card through Stripe, in US dollars, with ZHCLOUD LLC as the merchant of record.

That is the whole business. We do not sell advertising, we do not sell or broker personal data, we do not operate a marketplace or take payments on behalf of anyone else, and we do not provide consulting, medical, financial or legal services.

How we operate

ZHCLOUD LLC is a small, self-funded operation. Product development and editorial work are carried out by the founder together with contracted specialists engaged for specific pieces of work, such as reviewing classical citations or checking English copy. We have no outside investors and no debt.

Our application, database and encrypted backups run on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in Singapore. Customer support is handled by email, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 Singapore Time (UTC+8). A full list of the third parties that process customer data is published in our privacy policy rather than kept internal.

The principle we build to

Traditional Chinese seasonal thought is a genuine intellectual tradition with a long textual record. It is also, commercially, a magnet for exaggeration — either dressed up as clinical medicine or flattened into horoscope filler. Both approaches mislead the reader, and the first one can cause real harm if somebody delays care because an app told them something reassuring.

We took the harder route. WuJi quotes its sources with the edition named, separates what a text says from how later readers interpreted it and from what we ourselves are suggesting, and marks each of those layers with an evidence tier. Where interpretations genuinely conflict, the product says so. Where we are extrapolating, it says that too.

That discipline is enforced in code, not left to good intentions. Calendar and phase calculations are deterministic. Classical quotations are inserted from a fixed registry, so a model cannot paraphrase them. Draft articles that fail our editorial checks cannot be moved into a published state. It makes the product slower to build and harder to market, and we think it is the only defensible way to sell software in this category.

What we will not claim

We do not describe WuJi as diagnosing, treating, preventing or predicting any medical condition, because it does none of those things. We do not describe a traditional framework as clinically validated. We do not promise outcomes, and we do not publish testimonials, user counts, ratings or awards that we cannot substantiate. If you find a statement anywhere in our materials that overreaches, write to legal@e5elements.com and we will correct it publicly rather than quietly.
