WuJi publishes cultural and lifestyle reference material. This page states exactly what that means, and what you must not use the product for. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Version 1.0 Effective 2026-09-18 Issued by ZHCLOUD LLC

The core statement

WuJi does not diagnose, treat, prevent, cure or predict any disease, condition or health outcome. It is not a medical device, not a clinical decision-support tool, and not a substitute for advice, examination or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional. Nothing in it establishes a practitioner–patient relationship.

1. In an emergency, stop and get help

If you or someone else has chest pain, difficulty breathing, altered consciousness, severe bleeding, a suspected stroke, thoughts of self-harm, or any other sign of a serious problem, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not consult this product first. Nothing here is capable of assessing an emergency.

2. Do not delay care because of anything we publish

The single greatest risk of a product like ours is that a reassuring passage persuades somebody to wait. If you have a symptom that is new, persistent, worsening or worrying, see a qualified healthcare professional. A seasonal reading is not a reason to postpone that, and a favourable one is not evidence that nothing is wrong.

3. Never change medication on the basis of our content

Do not start, stop, substitute, combine or re-dose any prescription medicine, over-the-counter medicine, herbal formula or supplement because of something you read in WuJi. We do not know your history, your other medicines or your contraindications, and we make no attempt to. Talk to a physician or pharmacist.

4. What our content actually is

WuJi presents a body of traditional Chinese seasonal thought, organised so that you can see where each statement comes from. We deliberately keep three layers apart:

  1. Primary text — a quotation from a named public-domain edition, inserted by code from a fixed registry so the wording cannot drift.
  2. Later interpretation — the method that subsequent commentators derived from that passage, including places where they disagree with one another.
  3. Our own prompt — a low-stakes journalling suggestion written by us, labelled as ours, and never a clinical recommendation.

Each layer is marked with an evidence tier inside the product. Anything we have extended beyond the sources is labelled as a lifestyle extrapolation.

5. Accurate computation is not medical validity

Our rule engine can reproduce a traditional calculation faithfully and still tell you nothing medically useful about yourself. Those are separate questions. We claim the first and we explicitly disclaim the second: we do not assert that this framework has been shown to predict health outcomes for an individual, and we do not describe it as clinically proven, scientifically proven or validated by modern research. Where research exists we cite it as research, with its limitations, rather than as proof.

6. Acupoint material

Acupoint diagrams are cultural and educational reference, cross-checked against published location standards. They support gentle self-massage at most. They are not instruction in acupuncture, needling, moxibustion, cupping or any other clinical technique, and they must not be used to treat a condition. Do not apply pressure over broken skin, infection, recent injury, a tumour site, or during pregnancy without professional advice.

7. Questionnaires are not tests

Constitution questionnaires in WuJi are self-report instruments used as a cultural and reflective exercise. A result is not a diagnosis, not a laboratory finding and not a risk score. Our English rendering of any Chinese-language instrument is an unofficial reference translation and the original standard text prevails.

8. Seasons on a calendar are not the weather outside

The 24 Solar Terms are a calendar convention originating in a specific region of China. The term named today may bear little resemblance to conditions where you live, and it inverts in the southern hemisphere. We adjust for time zone, true solar time and hemisphere, but you should still check your local forecast rather than dressing for a calendar.

9. Not advice of any other kind either

WuJi does not provide legal, financial, insurance, employment, psychological or psychiatric advice. Do not use its output to make decisions about hiring, lending, insuring, medicating or diagnosing anyone — yourself or another person. Do not present it to a third party as an assessment of someone's health.

10. Do not use our content to advise others

If you are a practitioner of any kind, you may of course read us. You may not represent our output as a clinical assessment, incorporate it into a diagnosis, or use our brand to imply that a treatment you offer is validated by us. See the acceptable use policy.

11. Individual variation

People differ. Nothing in WuJi applies uniformly, no outcome is promised, and any experience described by one reader tells you nothing reliable about your own. We do not publish testimonials or results claims for this reason.

12. Accuracy and corrections

We work hard on our citations and we still get things wrong. Editions get misattributed, translations mislead, a rule gets implemented from the wrong commentary. If you find an error, write to legal@e5elements.com with the page and passage. We publish corrections rather than silently editing text that changed a conclusion.

13. Regulatory status

WuJi is not a regulated medical device in any jurisdiction, is not registered with or cleared by any medical regulator, and makes no claim of such status. It is general-purpose lifestyle and cultural software. If our product ever acquired a function that changed this, we would say so prominently before shipping it.

14. Your acknowledgement

By using WuJi you confirm that you have read this page, that you understand the product is cultural and lifestyle reference material rather than healthcare, and that you will seek qualified professional care for health concerns. If you do not accept that, please do not use the service.
